Bp Net Zero Scholarship: Attend One Young World Summit 2023 – Belfast, Ireland

Scholarship

Fully Funded to Attend One Young World Summit

The world’s carbon budget is finite and running out fast; the world needs a rapid transition to net zero. Increasingly, we all want and need energy that is secure, affordable and lower carbon. To deliver that, trillions of dollars will need to be invested in replumbing and rewiring the world’s energy system. It will require nothing short of reimagining energy as we know it.

bp has set an ambition to become a net zero company by 2050 or sooner, and to help the world get to net zero. This means reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its operations and production, while at the same time growing new lower and zero carbon businesses, products and services. More details of bp’s ambition can be found here.

As bp aims for net zero, we recognise the value of listening to, learning from and partnering with others. That’s why bp is pleased to support the Net Zero Scholarship – a programme to identify and engage with young innovators who are reimaging energy for people and our planet today.
